Hi! My name is Vayram (pronounced Vi-RAM). I see the world through story. I believe every person has a story to tell. I love collaborating with changemakers, people who want to make a positive impact in the world. And I love bringing stories to life with my voice.

I’m a black female voice actor with an eclectic background. I’ve worked in the arts, arts education, government, public health, and social justice advocacy, and in nine different countries. My longest career, outside of the arts, was as a US diplomat in Latin America and South Central Asia. I’ve been an improviser for over 15 years, performing and co-leading workshops throughout Asia, Europe, and the US. I currently donate 10% of everything I make to NGOs and nonprofits around the world.

I’m a first-generation American born in Chicago and the proud daughter of African immigrants. I’ve traveled to dozens of countries and spent time on every continent except Antarctica; which, despite my best efforts, remains stubbornly on my bucket list.
